On March 26th 6pm those Audacious Beer Celebration folks are hosting a 4 course 5 Belgian beer dinner. Featured guest speaker will be Don Fienberg owner/importer of Vanberg- DeWulf portfolio of beers. Greetings World !
This is a reach out to anyone who has an interest in supporting of a charitable event for Lake Country Rotary and or a passion for a beer, great beer. The fund raising event is the Audacious Beer Celebration. The event was created initially as Lake Country Beer and Music Festival (lakecountrybeer.com) our first two years but we have re-tooled to reach out to a broader community…you.
What I trust you will find in this blog is an interaction of ideas and postings of all that is of interest to the educational of great beers and beer related issues of interest from around the world. Additionally the audaciousbeer/ blog is a collaborative effort with our friends who help acquire the beers for the premier tasting and are passionate about the beer scene in SE Wisconsin. To underscore the purpose of the fund raising aspect of the celebration we have also posted on audaciousbeer.com all the charities which we support. This includes our international humanitarian/environmental efforts our club is involved with organizing and funding. Our motto is Service Above Self and all we do we ask ourselves… Is it the Truth, Is it fair to all concerned, Will it build goodwill and better friendships and Will it be beneficial to all involved? That is what Rotarian’s call the Four way Test.
So at the heart of this blog are three components : 1) Creating an awareness of Audacious Beer Celebration 2) Encouraging all of you to assist in the appreciation of what is current in the Craft and Artisan Beer and Brewery world 3) A continuing update about the humanitarian and environmental work at Lake Country Rotary.
So my promise is to keep it real and have some fun along the way.
